Cream was a British rock band formed in London in 1966. The band consisted of drummer Ginger Baker, bassist and vocalist Jack Bruce, and guitarist and vocalist Eric Clapton. Cream was one of the first supergroups, and they were known for their blues-rock sound and their extended jam sessions.
After releasing four successful albums and performing numerous concerts, Cream disbanded in 1968. Eric Clapton went on to have a successful solo career and is widely considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Jack Bruce also had a successful solo career and continued to perform and record music until his death in 2014. Ginger Baker also continued to perform and record music, both as a solo artist and with various bands, until his death in 2019.
